HLN reports that RAAL La Louviere could offer Majeed Ashimeru the chance of getting regular football again. The Ghanaian midfielder, who has been capped at senior level by the Black Stars, has been surplus to requirements at Anderlecht and is training individually to maintain his fitness. RAAL would like to bring Ashimeru in from Anderlecht on loan until the end of the season.

Ashimeru joined Anderlecht back in the winter of 2021 as a potential replacement for Albert Sambi Lokonga. While at times he has looked good, injuries and inconsistent form have seen him in and out of the starting line-up during the past few seasons. Overall, the midfielder has played 129 games for Anderlecht, scoring nine goals. Ashimeru’s best season with Anderlecht came in 2022/2023, where he played 42 games with three goals and three assists. However, he has not made an appearance this season as Anderlecht seeks to move him on.
