The French national team, known as Les Bleus, has chosen Boston’s Four Seasons hotel in Massachusetts as their base for the 2026 World Cup. This decision was confirmed after Didier Deschamps and his staff visited the hotel following the World Cup draw last December, realizing the strategic advantages of Boston given their match locations on the Eastern seaboard.

For training, Les Bleus will utilize the facilities at Babson College in Wellesley, conveniently located about a half-hour drive from their hotel. France’s World Cup opener will be at Boston’s Gillette Stadium against Senegal in June 2026, with a preparatory friendly against Brazil set for March, offering them an early glimpse of their U.S. base.
