Mads Kikkenborg's brief time in Belgian football has come to an end. The Danish goalkeeper is leaving Anderlecht to join Norwegian side Molde for around €400k. With Anderlecht set to bring in Schalke 04 goalkeeper Justin Heekeren as a backup to first choice Colin Cooseman, Kikkenborg has been deemed surplus to requirements. He was only going to move on if Heekeren came in.

He joins a Molde side that have not won the Eliteserien title since 2022, whereas Molde and Rosenborg used to be the two sides competing for the title, Bodo/Glimt are now the dominant force in the league, although Viking pipped them to the post last season.
