Albert Riera has been officially appointed as the new head coach of Eintracht Frankfurt. Kicker reported that the Bundesliga team managed to negotiate a high €5m release clause to less than €1m from Slovenian club Celje. Riera is set to remain on Celje’s sideline for their upcoming PrvaLiga match this Sunday.

Eintracht Frankfurt confirmed that Riera requested a chance for one final match with his current team. The official SGE welcome is scheduled for Monday. Interested parties will have an opportunity to see Riera handle German reporters at a press conference on Monday.
