FC Augsburg are on the verge of acquiring 19-year-old Nigerian striker Uchenna Ogundu from Alanyaspor. Ogundu, a prolific scorer, is scheduled for a medical in Fuggerstadt this coming Sunday ahead of his transfer to the Bundesliga club.

The young talent graduated from Nigeria’s “Diamond Youth Academy” and made a successful tenure at Şanlıurfaspor in Turkey before moving to Alanyaspor. He has amassed a market value increase from €650,000 to €1.5 million throughout the season. Details on the transfer fee paid by Augsburg have not been disclosed yet according to sources.
