The German FA has confirmed that Newcastle striker Nick Woltemade will be reporting to training camp on Tuesday evening. A statement published on the DFB website confirms Woltemade’s imminent arrival in Herzogenaurach. The DFB notes that the 23-year-old’s continued struggles with flu-like symptoms mean that he might not be able to partake in tomorrow morning’s training session.

German national team head coach Julian Nagelsmann has already called up two additional players since confirming his initial squad last week. Freiburg keeper Noah Atubolu will not directly replace anyone. Brentford attacker Kevin Schade will fill the squad slot for the injured Jamie Leweling.
