Joshua Kimmich from Bayern Munich declared his club's 2025/26 Bundesliga title quest as completed after scoring a decisive late goal against Borussia Dortmund in Saturday's “Top-Spiel”. In his post-match interview with Sky Germany, he confidently stated the inevitable when questioned about Bayern's secure grip on the title.

Kimmich stated, “We’ve achieved an 11-point lead over our pursuers by defeating Borussia Dortmund. We don’t intend to let our advantage slip away. We’ll maintain this lead indefinitely.” Kimmich asserted firmly.
