Andrea Cambiaso, the Juventus defender, has clarified that a move to Manchester City was never on the verge of happening. During an interview, Cambiaso revealed that there was interest from Pep Guardiola's side, but it was merely interest and not a significant opportunity for a long-term transfer.

While playing at Juventus, the 25-year-old confirmed that there was no serious transfer intent in motion and that he never considered relocating due to speculations. Cambiaso also refuted any claims that such transfer talks distracted him from his commitments.
