The 30-year-old midfielder is focusing on his personal recovery programme ahead of the Matchday 16 clash against Wolfsburg.

Before the Bundesliga paused for the break, Kimmich had already missed matches such as Bayern’s 6-2 victory over Freiburg in mid-November and the final 4-0 win over Heidenheim. Under Coach Vincent Kompany, Bayern is cautious about rushing Kimmich back to avoid further complications.
