Paris FC has officially announced the departure of their head coach Stéphane Gilli on Sunday afternoon. Antoine Kombouaré, the experienced 62-year-old coach who has previously worked with RC Strasbourg Alsace, Paris Saint-Germain, and FC Nantes, was immediately appointed as his successor. He has signed with the Parisian club until the end of the season, with an option to extend for another year if Paris FC remain in the top flight.

Promoted from Ligue 2 at the end of the 2024–25 season, Les Parisiens have faced a turbulent return to the first division, sitting in 15th place. Kombouaré, who initially had no plans to take over a club mid-season, was convinced to join Paris FC due to the ambitious project led by the Arnault family and the Red Bull group.
