Liam Rosenior singled out Désiré Doué among several Paris Saint-Germain stars as he admitted his side struggled to cope with the hosts’ individual quality in a 5-2 defeat to PSG in the UEFA Champions League.

“In the Premier League, there is no Doué, no Ousmane Dembélé, no Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, no Vitinha or João Neves,” the Chelsea boss said. “It’s an exceptional team.”

Chelsea had matched PSG for much of the evening and were level at 2-2 after 74 minutes before a costly error from goalkeeper Filip Jörgensen allowed Kvaratskhelia to strike twice.
