Romain Faivre (27), who was expected to join Le Havre AC on loan, has made a late switch to AJ Auxerre instead. The deal does not include a purchase option. The former Olympique Lyonnais and Stade Brestois playmaker had a challenging loan spell at Al-Taawoun, featuring sparingly for the Saudi Pro League side, leading to the early termination of his loan. Instead of returning to his parent club Bournemouth, he has gone back to France, where he spent last season on loan at Brest. Faivre, who will wear the No.28 jersey for L’AJA, joins the Burgundy club that is currently fighting a relegation battle, sitting with only 12 points from their first 17 league games. His mission is to guide the club towards safety in Ligue 1, having the experience of 135 matches in France's top-flight with 29 goals and 17 assists.
