Former Borussia Dortmund striker Jordi Paulina has joined Fortuna Düsseldorf, a 2. Bundesliga club, for a reported fee of €400k. Paulina, aged 21, signed a contract until 2030 after scoring seven goals and providing one assist in 11 league appearances for BVB II in the Regionalliga (fourth tier) this season.
Sven Mislitant, F95’s sporting director, remarked that Paulina is a very talented and versatile forward who is expected to make a sizable impact in the second half of the season. The four-and-a-half-year contract reflects the potential development seen in him.
