RB Leipzig has officially confirmed the signing of Nigerian youth international Suleiman Sani by paying a base transfer fee of €5 million to Slovak club AS Trencin. A modest package of add-ons around €1 million is also part of the deal.

Leipzig's sporting director, Marcel Schäfer, has praised Sani’s potential and noted that the club sees him as a promising talent who can develop further within the team’s framework.
